Our story

Designed in Sweden by a couple who couldn't agree either

SöMN (Swedish for sleep) started in northern Sweden, where Paulina liked the bedroom warm and Steve liked it cool. Separate duvets kept the peace, but they felt like a wedge between them.

As engineers, they knew there had to be a simpler fix: one comforter with two temperatures. That's Kömforte. Practical, Swedish-inspired design that keeps you side by side.

How does a dual-zone comforter work?

Kömforte is one comforter split down the middle. One half has 150 g of down-alternative fill for a lighter, cooler feel. The other half has 300 g for extra warmth. Each of you sleeps under the half that suits you, with no gap and no second blanket.

How do we know which side is which?

Each half has a labeled duvet tab, so you can tell the warm side from the cool side at a glance, even inside a duvet cover.

Can we switch sides?

Yes. Rotate Kömforte head-to-foot and the warm half moves to the other side of the bed. Handy if your preferences change with the seasons.

What sizes do you offer?

Queen/Full: 90 x 90 in, for full and queen beds.
King/Cal King: 106 x 93 in, for king and California king beds.

Can I use it with a duvet cover?

Yes. Use Kömforte on its own or as an insert inside a standard queen or king duvet cover.

How do I wash it?

Kömforte is machine washable, so there's no trip to the dry cleaner. Follow the care label for wash and dry settings.

Is it hypoallergenic?

Yes. It's filled with a hypoallergenic down alternative (no feathers) and certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which means every component has been tested for harmful substances.
